The Digest is a general-purpose web directory organized on the principle of the library card-catalog: every submitted site receives its own annotated entry, filed under one of 22 subject headings, and made available for browsing by anyone who wishes to consult the stacks.
The directory began as a practical reference tool — a place where site operators could file a listing and readers could locate resources by subject, without the noise and churn of algorithmic search results. We believe a hand-curated, categorized index has its own value, distinct from what any search engine provides.
Our 22 subject sections span a broad range of commercial and informational categories, from Wagering, Gaming & Chance and Medicine, Pharmacy & Wellness through to Journeys, Lodging & Exploration and Miscellany & General Reference. If a submitted site does not fit cleanly under one heading, our review process files it under the section that comes closest.
Submissions are accepted free of charge. We review each submission before adding it to the catalog, checking that the URL is functional and the supplied title and description are accurate. We do not edit submitted copy beyond correcting obvious technical errors. The card, once filed, reflects the submitter's own description of their site.
The Digest is open to sites from any country and any legal industry. Our aim is to maintain a comprehensive, well-organized reference catalog that grows steadily as new submissions are filed. We appreciate every operator who takes the time to add their site to the stacks.
